Free School Dinners

Children whose parents receive Income Support, Income Based Jobseekers Allowance,  Child Tax Credit (income below £16,190)  or Universal Credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400 (£616.67 per month), as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods) are entitled to Free School Meals. You can apply online here. Any families who register receive a free school meal starter pack which includes a sweatshirt. Click here for Suffolk County Councils Free School Meals leaflet. Even if your child is in Year 1 or 2 and therefore getting universal free school meals you should still apply as this unlocks extra funding for the school.
