Our School Dinners.
School dinners are freshly prepared on site every day in our School Kitchen and there is a choice of options available. Children order their preferred option at morning registration. Children in Years One and Two are entitled to a free school meal every day. Meals for other children are priced at £2.30 per day. Dinner money should be sent in a sealed envelope on a Monday. Cheques payable to Carlton Colville Primary School or we warmly welcome online payments. See the online payments tab on this website for more details.

Free School Dinners
Children whose parents receive Income Support, Income Based Jobseekers Allowance, Child Tax Credit (income below £16,190) or Universal Credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400 (£616.67 per month), as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods) are entitled to Free School Meals. You can apply online here. Any families who register receive a free school meal starter pack which includes a sweatshirt. Click here for Suffolk County Councils Free School Meals leaflet. Even if your child is in Year 1 or 2 and therefore getting universal free school meals you should still apply as this unlocks extra funding for the school.

Snacks
As part of the national fruit scheme for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children a piece of fruit or vegetable is provided daily, free of charge.
Children in Key Stage 2 are allowed to bring a healthy snack of fruit or raw vegetables to eat at morning break. Sweets, crisps and biscuits are not allowed.
Children should also have a named water bottle in school. These are available from the school office. Children can refill their bottle in school. Please note only water is allowed in school not squash or fizzy drinks.
