Welcome to Carlton Colville Primary School

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Carlton Colville Primary School- a fantastic school where every child’s journey matters. We take immense pride in being a vibrant, caring, and inclusive community that nurtures a love for learning, curiosity, and creativity in all our pupils.

Our mission statement is simple: ‘Be the best you can be.’ Learning is our core business, and we all aspire to be the best that we can be.  A high standard of achievement and personal development is our ultimate aim.

We have a fabulous team of professional, dedicated and passionate staff who are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and a rich, broad curriculum that inspires every child to excel and become confident, lifelong learners.

We believe that children thrive when families and school work closely together. Strong partnerships with parents and carers are key to ensuring that every child succeeds. We also value the connections that we strive to make with our wider community.

We hope you find our website clear, informative and easy to navigate. It is designed to give you a flavour of life at our school. However, the best way to see our school in action is to pay us a visit, so please do come along and we'd be delighted to show you around.

Mr. J Rose
Interim Headteacher

World Book Day - 6th March
Thursday 6th March is World Book Day. This is a non-school uniform day and your child is encouraged to come dressed up as a character from a book. They might also choose to bring in the book they are a character from, into school on this day. This year, there is also the option for your child to come dressed in pyjamas, if they would prefer to do this. They might bring with them a blanket or a teddy, (to avoid losing these, please can your child's name be visible on them), to represent reading at night or before bedtime. Thank you,
