We aim to enrich our curriculum by offering the children weekly enrichment sessions run by our support staff who draw on their experience and interests outside work to provide  a range stimulating and enjoyable activities. A different opportunity is offered every 5 weeks.

Mindfulness and Wellbeing

Mrs Stacey has run enrichment sessions centred around mindfulness and wellbeing.
The children are taught various self-help techniques to enhance their wellbeing. These include progressive relaxation, mindfulness meditation, yoga and
Qigong. Throughout the sessions, the children focus on positive aspects of their lives for which they are grateful.  Together they have created a 'Gratitude Tree', which is now on display in the school's atrium.
